Oh... come on now... there is still a CHANCE that they will bring back the Circus rings, isn't there?
But I doubt that we will ever again hear elephant act MUSIC that was as good as what was used for the 108th Edition!
The end rings here are smaller than Center. Was that standard for '78, or because of this one building?
Castle vets recall Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Chamberlain, SD, as two examples of getting in what you can. In our case, a ring and a piece of a ring.
Watching Jacqueline Zerbini do her trapeze act in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan was a bit anti-climatic too.
The buildings roof was concave so when she did her heel catch her head was about 12" from the floor.
But the show must go on.
