Jenda was my Mothers boyfriend for a while in Germany in the 30ths. The Smaha's where very well known horse trainers and had some great acts
Henry, I believe that this Jenda was born in the thirties as he was similar to me in age. I think you are confused between his father Tony or his uncle Vinicky. johnny
I would see Jenda quite often when
visiting Franz Czeisler at his WQ
just North of town where he spent
much of his time in later years
What relation was he to Tony & Inga
that were on the Beatty show with
dressage in the 60s or 70s
Tony was his father and Inge a step-mother. Jenda was in Australia with Tony on Wirth Circus and migrated with him to America and the rest is history. Actually he was not an animal trainer in Aussie or first in USA. He was a clown. From Clyde bros-suesz they parted ad he showed up as an elephant man.johnny
