Hugo Zacchini III is the adopted son of Hugo Zacchini I. I had a nice visit with him in 2003 at his home in Red Level, Al. The cannon was parked in his back yard, somewhat overgrown with shrubery, but otherwise recognizable. There have been attempts made to obtain this cannon and have it restored, but Mr. Zacchini does not wish to part with it. Not sure what condition it is in now. He told me once that he was going to move it and put a roof over it.

This is the cannon that is in Jimmey Cole's post. It is no longer in Fontana.
