Buckles, 'show bum' and 'tent stob' are not terms you hear much any more. I think the last time I recall hearing 'tent stob' was when I worked for Lou Regan in the mid 70's. 'Show bum' is how Red Hartmann always refereed to Billy Powell. :) Thanks for the trip back.
Just think of all the words that meant something years ago, but today are known only by a few of old timers. And, all those that have already been lost. Bob Kitto

Although designed at MIT, some show bum had to drive a tent stob to keep it upright.
