04-15-2012 10;25;05AM, a photo by bucklesw1 on Flickr. We did indeed do elephant rides and Jack Joyce broke two camels to pull cart that people rode in. The first couple of years when we performed outdoors we would alternate elephants out of the barn. The rides came with the price of admission so there was no need to hurry or load more than two or three people at a time. However once the arena was built Gary Hill would take three or four ride elephants out front to a shaded shelter while the rest performed in the show. This is Scott, "Hugo" and me the first year 1974.
