The photographs of elephants simple and authentic in this collection were all taken by Louis Bouchery in Paris or in the region between 1950 and 1990. Sylvain Jardon accompanying biographical sketches of striking. Together they form a book that takes you as a tale, wonderful, funny and cruel. We discover another world, intimate, sensitive and moving, makes fabulous fates, immigrants, freed slaves became celebrities, travel.
