Wayne once told me that a gentleman came into the office claiming to be from ASCAP demanding royalties on the music the band was playing. He replied, "You'll have to be more specific, I've had these guys for three years and havn't recognized a tune yet." The gentleman left.
I gave D R Miller an audio copy of the 1959 Al G. Kelly and Miller Bros Circus performance music and listening to the tape he said that song cost me $10,000. So ASCAP must have nailed him real good. Harry in Texas
