The Deland Fairgrounds were also the winterquarters for the Johnny J. Jones Carnival for years before CBCB. I`ve got some photos of Johnny J. Jones in Deland, will look them up & pass them on to you.

James E. Strates Show wintered there ONE winter, also. Don't remember exactly which year, but I will find out.
Also, at the far end of this building there was a water tank for the hippo"Big Otto" when the show still carried her.
