Okha has been doing that trick for years. I first saw her doing that trick when the UAW would pay Wayne Franzen to spend a week at the Genesee County fairgrounds. I think it was back in the late seventies when I first saw the show there during a Joel E Warner Top gathering. He also had a liberty goat act at that time. Wayne trained Okha using gee and haw instead of the normal elephant commands used by most trainers. Wayne was a Wisconsin farm boy who loved horses, hence the gee and haw commands he used. Wayne told me one time that he was crushed when his dad sold the horses and bought a tractor. It will be fifteen years in May when he passed away. He was a great person and a very hard worker. I don't think there was anything he couldn't do if he set his mind to doing something.

Chic, it is really impressive live. He was here with James and Weiner Plunkett for their HomeTown Show last fall..
