You might be right about that.
Taken in Hot Springs in 1942 I remember her telling the photographer not to show my feet since my shoes were almost worn out.
Probably the reason we were down town buying bigger clothes for me.

Carnivore's and canine's are gifted with the inborn ability to see into the future and know what their offspring will mature into, and what kind of problems to expect as they mature. That's why they will often wisely bit their offspring's heads off and eat them before they are a week old. Who want's problems, right? Human's unfortunately, are not as gifted or have the inborn ability of an animal and are caught unawares when the shit storm suddenly appears at the age of about five. From then on we struggle and do the best we can to adapt to their world. If only a parent could have seen into the future with the ability of a carnivore........ :)

I drove near Hot Springs when I was out in TX/AR/TN the last two weeks for work. I was really torn between work and pleasure when I was in Paris, TX, and saw the signs for Hugo, OK, and so wanted to blow off work and do some serious sight seeing. Maybe next time.
