You omitted Mary Ruth Herriott who was predominent in that first year with dogs and ponies, assisting me with baby elephants and aerial act. She was always a key person in subsequent years. Johnny

Sorry Buckles, I note she is listed with me Tanglefoot. Thats why I am called that.

No idea who compiled this list.
I found it carefully filed in a shoe box marked "Baraboo".

Carl Rasmussen was father of famed circus performer, aerialist, bareback rider Lilly Cristiansen [remember Liliana and her leopards]. She had performed in Baraboo CWM at its beginning and her fatgher settled there and would work oart time in various jobs at museum. A nice fellow.johnny

Dean Adams was lifelong circus fan. Especially liberty horses. He owned-operated the popular among legislators, The Simon House elegant eating place in dowtown Madison, Wisc. He wanted the 12 liberty act that I was pleased to train for him. He was delighted but unfortunately suddenly passed away with heart attack about one year later. A really wonderful man and boss along with Wilbur, [Mr. Baraboo businman] Deppe. Along with Director Chappie Fox I had some great people to work with and for, plus the charming town of Barabbo. It was a great eight years.

Buckles:

While the shoe box filing system has merit, I have always leaned toward the cigar box.

I thought cigar boxes were where grandpa hid his porno in the garage.

Bob: I led a deprived childhood. I had no grandpa and we had no car, thus no garage, and if porno was then available we would have been too poor for it too.

Dave,
You didn't miss a thing. Today it might be considered risque. Back then, it was the real thing and you hid it.
