When I first took over this herd in Venice, the seven young elephants were named Minyak, Mala, Sandry, Sheva, Assam, Patna and Matsho. I changed most of the names right away. This was "Sheva" and I went to Sophie Fox and said, "I just named an elephant after you!" and she replied, "Oh, Really?" She was underwhelmed. |

Around here they have even made hills for sledding when we have some snow, which this year has not been veery much.
