Dear Sir,

I am not sure if I had forwarded this to you earlier.
But it is an interesting article about the
circus elephant named "Big Bingo"
which died suddenly in Columbus Ohio
in May 1918 while the Ringling Bros.&Barnum & Bailey show was preforming there.
Here is an interesting article from the journal
DENTAL SUMMARY Vol.39(1919).

Included in the article is a photograph of the skull of the famous elephant Big Bingo .

That at one time could be seen on display in the Dental Museum at Ohio State University, but no longer.
I do not know what became of its skull in later years, as Ohio State University appears to no longer have it.
It is interesting to note how well its tusks were developed for a mature female Asian elephant.

Really long pokers for a female asian??

We know that Asian females only get those knobby tusks. I have never seen or heard of an Asian with such a full set of tusks and would doubt very much if that indeed is Bingo. johnny
