Looks rather spartan, not even any window curtains, maybe this was taken while still in the shop. We had a forty foot state room like this, wall to wall (no aisle on one side), parlor, kitchenette, shower, doniker and bedrooms for both us and the kids. When we stopped to water, etc. it was Dalilah's job to walk the Pug on a leash, Bobby Johnson (who had the other end of the car) told Barbara that while looking out his window he saw Dalilah kick the dog because he was taking too long. He thought it was funny, Barbara didn't and exacted a severe talking to.
We were in our second month in the Garden in '78 when a Security Guard told me I had a visitor at the back door. Lo and Behold, it was my mother who, with her little dog in a tote bag had riden the bus from Hugo, Oklahoma to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. What a treat to see the big show in the big city. She remained with us through the date, Philadelphia and next stop Oklahoma City where one day she she vanished the same way she had arrived.
