A great deal of preparation was required for this tour. In addition to the usual problems associated with traveling to and appearing in eight different venues, there were a number of special details that had to be addressed. For example, the “earth” used for the arena flooring had to be as close as possible to what was used for performances in Vienna. |

Comparable to the "earth" in the Big Apple ring.
I once witnessed a Fed Ex package of soil being passed around in the office, the contents were smelled, tasted, queezed and fondled before the OK was given.
Many years back when I was doing
some scenic & lighting design &
implementation for Arabian Nights
in Kissimmee (they still owe a
long overdue balance) they were
using a ground cover product
called FiBar that seemed to be a
mix of synthetic & natural fibers
They would power rake & moisten
the arena between shows & I was
surprised at how well it worked
Hummm - How about That !
I have always senced the BAC was very attentive to achieving there Quality Performance OVERALL -
That is certainly Focused - BRAVO
Bud,
Often times it helps if the horse trainer is married to the producer. When the show is over and it is time for bed, the chips are stacked in your favor to "negotiate" a better footing for your steads.

Chick,
Did you mean FUBAR?
Bob Kitto
No Bob & there's no K in Chic
FUBAR came out of Cape Canavaral
in the early 60s & it quickly
replaced the WWII acronym SNAFU
(but you knew that all along)
Sorry, Chic(k).
