Sweetest lady in the animal business!!
From my Memoir:
I walk past two round cages with cone shaped tops, in the first cage a beautiful leopard is jumping around from the top of her house to the cage wall that acts like sort of a banked turn – she is talkative and showing off her teeth. In the second cage an interesting playful bear sniffs the air in my direction. Between the cages are Mike and Janice washing shinny food bowls with sudsy water and big brushes. It is then I start to appreciate how amazingly clean everything is with all these animals about, and I notice all the hard working folks in their kaki cloths feeding and cleaning and caring for all these magnificent animals
Class act!
It's good to see Mike's widow thriving and happy in this vital work, and that she's this highly respected. As Paul Harvey would say, "Janice, lead on."
