Subject: Q./mounted skeleton of Asian Elephant"Albert"(1886)

Dear Sir,

Hello,

would you please tell me if the archives would have a photograph
of the mounted skeleton of the infamous circus elephant
"Albert" which was shot at Keene NH july 1885?
Reporedly it was mounted in the old museum.

thank you

RETURNING to this Post Again -
I Find IT IS REALY Interesting
as
* the area behind the FRONT KNEES
Extends UP & OUTWARD - HUMMM
* again somewhat - behind the ANKLE

Quite different from the Rear Legs

IT Makes me think ,
WHAT'S THAT FOR
as I can't figure in any Major Mussles located from OFF of there -& That Skin Area is kind of like that of a BATS WINGS or A FLYING SQUIRRELS with the SKIN AREAS so Elastic - - - I KNOW #%^ +*?^

Anyway THE SKELETON Certainly is
A MAGNIFICENT ENGINERING STRUCTURE
so Simple & Streamlined for such
A Large, Strong & Agile Animal

YET MINUS ANYTHING FOR THE OTHER

SO DOMINATE FACTORS

" THE EARS & of course THE TRUNK "

Those protrusions Bud kinda sorta

look like elbows that they rest on

when laying down flat but we can

get the real deal from Buckles
