From Chris Berry

This poster from Art Concello's "Russell Bros Pan Pacific Circus" of 1945 features the familar artwork of Capt. Beatty which had been used as far back as the mid-1930s by Cole Bros and retitled for Hamid-Morton, Clyde Beatty-Wallace Bros, Clyde-Beatty-Russell Bros...and later for the Clyde Beatty Circus itself. Interesting that Beatty's "image" though not his name was used by Concello, since Mr. Circus himself was not with the Pan-Pacific circus in 1945, but rather trouping with his own Clyde Beatty Circus truck show...

How about doing a piece on Al Jolson. He worked for Walter L.Mains Circus in 1902.Thought it might be interesting. This as an usher.Main was impressed by Jolsons singing voice and gave him a positon as singer during the INdian Medicine Segment.
