Okay for ten points: what was the name of the sleeper (seen here) for the Kelly-Miller bill crew?

Oh I'm so sorry but your time is up.

It was lovingly called the "Iron Lung."

You can still get bonus points for this one: What once-standard fixture in all bill cars was the Iron Lung the very last advance vehicle in America to carry?

Rats! Am I the only old man left around here?

The Iron Lung was equipped with a BOILER so they could cook the paste with a steam hose. All the rail advance cars had this but in the truck era all had gone to "cold water" paste except KM.

There were a few die hard billposters who would take their paste barrels over to a dry cleaner's and ask to use their steam hose, but that wasn't always a sure thing, so the cold water route was the only option.

Not hardly Whitey but clearly the

only 1 with that specific show

related paste knowledge

Wasn't there some sort of horse

glue that needed cooking as well

I seem to recall some brownish

flakes that were boiled in water

Chic: Very well could have been tho I personally never used this type. Most of our pastes were wheat-based but there was some import- maybe from Denmark?- that was great but we never knew what was in it. It needed to be mixed the night before.

Some things are just better the next day, like potato salad, chili and this paste.
