On all the mud shows I have been around, no ramps. either they just climbed in or went from a tub. This photo appears to have been in the mud show days. tanglefoot
I am sorry. saw it wrong. It is railroad days.
This car came from the Frank West carnival. It had double doors. There's no ramp support structure under the door seen here, but there were two ramps to either side of the other door in the car. Maybe it was easier to move a tub into position, as opposed to manhandling a ramp half the length of the car to this door?
