Medinah Temple, 1972--wire service photo (whose cat act?): one of the great Shrine dates, a Chicago institution for decades--for years the late Pat Delaney, Sr. ran it--downtown theatre no longer owned by Shrine.

Could this be Jose Barrada's lion act? Clyde Bros. had the date for a few years after Polack.

The building is still there but has been converted to a Bloomingdale's department store. So sad. Lots of memories!

You are right, there are lions in the photo. Just enlargerd it and put my glasses on.

I'll go with Barrada.

Damn, I hate it when I'm wrong!

Used to be 21 days of seat running fun for me.

Also gone is the Medinah Grill right across the street. Nursed a few big heads there.
