Was hauling your personal vehicle on the flats a negotiated part of the contract or paid for on a first come basis??

When I 1st got (slightly) involved

with Big Bertha the train had all

of 17 cars & when I left in 81-82

both trains had 44 cars each

I don't recall how many cars were

on the Monte Carlo train but not

very many & not for very long
