Piccadilly Circus #1 (From Jim Cole)

This is the new “Racing Camel” unit of Dick Garden’s Piccadilly Circus. Brand new Big top, seats about 900. I just saw it in Montgomery AL. Business was very good, most shows almost a full house. They started out calling it “Circus Fusion Blast”, but changed to to Piccadilly, which now has two units. Dick Garden calls one the “White Tiger unit”, and this one the “Racing Camel unit”. Show moves into Augusta, GA, then Atlanta. Two weeks off, then a Florida tour, which I have heard will include Sarasota. Still a lot to do, including painting the semi trailers.

Jim, What are the Augusta GA dates ? That`s only 70 miles from me, I`d love to drive down and see the show.

The "Circus Fusion Blast" website lists Augusta as Nov. 25 - 27 at Green Jacket Stadium, and Atlanta from Dec 2 - 11 at Stone Mt. Park.

Better check their website to get more details.

Dick opens a tent show season just as the other shows are closing. I assume it will not stay long in wntrqtrs. where ever that may be.

Is the show title a play on words?

Every traffic circle in England

is called a circus & Sarasota is

proposing to completely screw up

our allready seasonally horrific

downtown traffic by installing

several at key intersections

Might as well be called circuses
