I got special permission from Dick Garden to take these photos. During the elephant act security from the circus patrols the audience looking for people taking photos, who are told not to do so. But yet there is no problem in anyone taking photos of the elephants outside on the ride??

Dick Gardens Piccidilly played here in town in June in our civic center.
I ask Dick about taking photos of the performance and he said be my guest and take all you want and could have not been any nicer.
Yet out in the parking lot I always as a model builder shoot equipment pictures.
But when it came to the George Hanneford elephants one of the Hanneford helpers he said not to shoot pictues of anything.
Now what are Hanneford trying to hide?????
Like Jim Cole, I had tons of fun shooting Dicks great performance as his shows I have seen have been the best.
Dick Garden spent two years here in Beaumont, Texas where he wintered and I had a great time visitng and had the run of the winter quarters.
What more could a circus fan ask for as to have a circus almost in his backyard.
