Four of the UENO TROUPE that came over with TAKEO USUI, the wire-walker. Check your programs for the correct spelling, as I'm in between ports right now. I recall being told that one of these girls became Lawson's wife???

Margie, who married Lawson, was from the Naito wire act, inclucing Nina and Alla. I used to watch them on the show in the early 40's when and maybe earlier than that when I visited my Dad in the Mad. Sq. Garden. and I was realy quite young at the time. It is too late to call Mary Jane Miller who was like family to Lawson and his children and they are still close today. When I talk with her tomorrow I will ask her about the other connection. Margie I believe was Eurasian I think. That is intereresting and I will check it out. THere are a lot of things I surely don't know. Jackie LeClaire
