About as close to a 52 week season as you will ever get.
I wonder what the reaction was to the 1,000 jump for the final week in Frostbite Falls?

There was no Polack circus train in the usual sense.

They must have used system baggage cars for the animals and equipment with the staff, cast, and workers riding in regular passenger train service behind the baggage cars.

RBBB used a similar arrangement from 1957 until mid-1960 for elephants and circus employees.

I can't remember the year the Polack Show finally had an elephant truck built, sometime in the early '60's.
However at the least provocation, MacDonald would return to the baggage car and send the truck empty.
Such was the case my first year there, we were to jump from Akron to Spokane and told that a baggage car had been schedueled.
I was also informed that I could hire a second driver for the truck.
So off we went, "Cook House" and Jimmy with the elephants aboard the train, Smokey at the controls of the big rig and my wife and I following in our van and trailer.
Actually it was a smart move since we were standed at Little America for a while due to a snow storm.
