Public Meeting #2

Hi, The question of whether or not to have elephant rides and our treatment of the elephants is on the agenda for the next board meeting of the 22nd DAA, San Diego County Fair in Del Mar on November 8, 2011 at 1:PM. They are expecting a really big turn out from the animal rights groups. If you know us, you know how much we love our elephants. Please consider telling your story at the board meeting. If you can speak for 2 or 3 minutes, that would be wonderful. If you don’t want to speak, but can come to show support that would be great too. We know that some of you are working or far away but e-mail, letters and phone calls of support for having elephants at the fair are also very important. Please copy us on everything you send so we can make sure it gets to the right people.Thank you for all you have already done for us and we appreciate that you keep doing it. It is sad that a "class act" in our elephant fraternity has to fight for their life and especially their right to exist in their chosen vocation and are respected world wide and have provided in motion pictures over the years such wonderful great entertainment in some marvelous highly acclaimed movies and TV commercials as well. They should be lauded and aplauded wherever they and their elephants appear. Their elephant compound is par excellence in every way. THeir elephant ride operation is a credit to anyplace they exhibit. What a shame that they cannot enjoy the fruits of their labor and their labor is far beyond the general requirments. I have been witness to this marvelous enterprise. Please help in every way. They are truly deserving.
