Buckles: Our little plot of land and its 8 large maples were spared Irene's wrath...no damage, no loss of power, dry basement. Other parts of our little town did not fare so well, some streets still closed and very nearby Paterson, where Ringling, CBCB, Vidbel and Zerbini played is an absolute disaster. cannot believe the scenes shown on TV.

So glad you were spared and damage as what we saw on tv it looked real bad and Irene was only a number 1.
When Rita and Ike hit and in Texas we had a 3 and 4 and no power for 3 weeks plus the beach homes were all gone like wiped clean by the hand of God.
But so glad you made it all ok.
