This wardrobe demonstrates how the trainer can almost get lost amidst the tawny lions and the backdrop of the canvas. He's much harder to find during the act. Jane Beatty told me they experimented with this design for both PERILS OF THE JUNGLE (1953,) and RING OF FEAR, as it was part of a licensing and merchandising plan akin to the lines of items of other action, western, and jungle movie heroes. Me, I wasn't having any. I say put the whites on the man in the cage, and khakis on the gun boy.
