(The tractor shown here appears to have a heavy metal plate welded onto its front. Was this so that it could be used for pushing was well as pulling?)  |

Fella on the Carnival told me Tractors were called "Iron Mules"..
It is a push plate, but also adds ballast to the front of the tractor. Notice the wheel weights bolted to the rear tractor tires. I believe these were Case tractors.
