I wonder if Barnes was the first man to advertise his show as a "Wild Animal Circus."

I count six such acts in the steel arena:

-Capt Jacques with Lions (was this Terrell Jacobs?)
-Lorraine Roos (Wallace?) with riding Leopard on an Arabian
-Irene McAfee (Ledgett?) riding Lions on Thoroughbreds
-Joe Metcalfe with riding Tiger on an Elephant
-Mabel Stark with fifteen Tigers
-John Myers with Lionesses

1905-1906 Hagenbeck outfit billed itself something like Trained Wild Animal Show.
