I do not recall much to-do about the "globe of death" in those dys, and it seems like now every show has one and all these multi-act circus families haul one around on a baggage trailer. Obviously it doesn't take the extreme practice and-or talent of difficult acts and must not be too expensive to hire. We are seeing 8 and 9 yr. old kids doing it. Wonder what happened to child labor laws. Obviously it must be dangerous or they wouldn't refer to it as a "globe of death". Saw one on "Americas got talent" and the judges thought it was the second coming. Wonder what the judges do for ent. They voted it to "go to Vagas" Seems like I recall Douglas McValley being a mainstay in Vagas fo some fifty years. Go figure.tanglefoot
