Chic, that to me was one of Felds finest accomplishments. AN ALL NEW CIRCUS FROM THE GROUND UP WITH GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. Fabulous real circus acts. Beautiful complete fifteen car rail show built just for that show. I saqwe it and it is one of the finest circuses I have ever seen. Thr Richtors were marvelous with bareback, elephants and all acts were indeed center ring features. The beaugiful set up on the floor, staging and lighting were superb. I can invision that being the Gold and going on forever.It was better than Kaleidescape. I felt the title for Amercans was awful. Whoever in USA ever heard of "INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL DU CIRCERQUE". Or something like that. The title was the heaviest load any good promoter had to bear. But congradulations Chic you can certainly be proud of your participation. I think I do not feel alone in my observations as any body out there at the time would feel tge same. What happened? Who knows. Seems lije it neede some old American "smaltz" whatever that is rather than being a little on the artsy fartsy. But hardly the performance. It was just great circus done in highest quality. Sad to think of that beautiful Fifteen car show. Thanks, Chic for the remembrance. Would love to hear Art Richtors comments about it.johnny
