 Hi Everyone Thought you all would like this picture of Bobby's marker. My friend Vic from Barstow , Ca went by and put the flowers on for Rosa for his birthday the end of April . It will be 7 years now. We all miss you Bobby!!!!  |

Seven years ago Kathy and I had arrived in Nyack, NY for the CHS conference. A group of us were sitting in the hotel lobby. I mentioned that I had recently spent a few days riding in the "banana truck" with Bobby. Someone had just heard Bobby had a stroke and was in the hospital. A few days later we heard he'd passed away.
I met Bobby and Rosa in the spring of 1965 when I was in the Army and he was working for Walt King's dad. Our family all have "Uncle Bobby" stories. The girls have known him since they where babies. No other person could have sold my wife on wearing a harem girl outfit to ride an elephant in a CWM parade. I know I'm not alone, he had countless friends and even more stories. We still miss him.
