From Buckles #2

A follow-up on the Bobby Gibbs eulogy.
This is Steve Patton (better known as "Hog Jaw") a long time assistant to Bobby but seen here with "Booper" on the Vargas Show.
As mentioned before, in 1973 I left my family and "Anna May" in Mexico City to join the Ringling Show, leaving them to get everything home.
Ben drove the house trailer and the Padillas got the elephant truck as far as the border.
Bobby suggested Capt. Jaws as a driver for the final leg, I agreed and Bobby got him to Laredo to await their arrival. Big Mistake!
During those few days he was on the Mexican Border I recieved an endless number of phone calls from various cantinas to Dick Brown's office requesting more money.
Words can't describe how happy I was to see them arrive after their long and perilous journey.

I am sure they were cantinas from the Boys Town section of Larado. Hog Jaws always had to have his beer, smokes and women !!!
