Jim: Tight lot here. Stakeline on one side and trees on the other, barely room for the cage trucks. The cage partitions worked from the side with the trees. Can't you hear George Scott bellyaching ?
If this is where the cage trucks actually wound up working that day, you bet I can hear George. On days like this, you didn't call him Popeye. Normally, George stood at the stakeline, and took five regular steps outward, and lay down any scrap of paper he could find. That was the mark for 77 and 78 to back up together, placing the up-and-down chute door at the right spot for the tunnel to then run straight to Center Ring. This looks like the trees have crowded the truck too close for a good set-up, with room left on the opposite side for George to pull the long door handles. One remedy was to cut a section of tunnel, but it being shorter made unloading the arena after the act that much more dicey.
