During the 1930s and 1940s, TRU-VUE produced literally thousands of 35mm filmstrips and the special viewers needed to view the images in stereo (i.e. 3-D.) The filmstrips and viewers turn up on eBay all the time, including the 4-part Ringling Circus series. If you want to see these images in 3-D, keep checking the daily auctions and you should eventually be able to find all four, as well as dozens of other interested subjects: Sally Rand (in 4 parts) the 1939 New York World’s Fair (in 8 parts); the 1939 San Francisco Golden Gate Exposition (in 4 parts), a set on the Rubin & Cherry Carnival titled “A Night at the Carnival” (in 2 parts), etc.
