This picture doesn't fit in with the others since Stewart never came to Sarasota. As Eric mentioned, probably done while Kelly and others were in Hollywood for the "Jumpin' Jack" number and train wreck scenes. Buckles |

When Kelly appeared for this scene, I got the impression he had emerged from a separate dressing area in this top, even though it was on a Paramount stage. Maybe Jackie LeClaire would know if Emmett was provided private space in the road Alley?
When the Concello seat wagons allowed star dressing spaces, I heard Kelly was alotted one, when the other clowns still shared the Alley.
In the train wreck shots, West Coast veterans can spot Chet Juszyk in the lion escape frames where we hear, "There's no place like home, Nero."
Mabel Stark was hired to monitor the tigers set loose by the wreck. I have to conclude her actual appearance was cut, as I've never been able to spot her onscreen.
This segment was filmed in Hollwood and pieced into the other segment done in Sarasota. I do not remember where Emmett dressed, but it is possible they gave him a place in one of the seat wagons between the dressing room sections in the big top. I do remember when they gave him a stateroon on the train and it was a little corner room, very small on the end of a state room car. I took a look at it and remember him commenting on it with a sense of humor. But then again, except for Paul Jung, state rooms were not given out to clowns, so this was quite an honor at the time.
