The show will not appear as well at the Lancaster, PA, ballpark on July 19. A ballpark representative told me this noon that "the promoters canceled it." The website of the promoters, Entertainment & Sports International, states it "is currently down for maintenance" and they haven't updated their facebook page for many months. Incorporated in 2003, the two principals in the company are based in Raleigh, NC, and Glen Ridge, NJ.

More info: Street & Smith’s “Sports Business Journal” for March 28-April 3 of this year discussed “ESI’s first venture into concert promotion” and noting only that ESI’s previous ventures had been to produce Family Fun Fests that they described as a “parking lot carnival that has made 350 appearances at minor league parks.” With their cancellation of the Boston Pops concert in Syracuse as well it sounds as if the problem lies with the promoter and has little to do with any Big Apple difficulty.

I wonder if Big Apple has to return the front money?
Doesn't Vidbells have another unit that can play the date?
Sounds like BA may not have the
moolah to give back
They are in a pretty deep hole
