The "twins" were 14 years old
Was Frank Daly with you that year
Now that you mention it, I think he was.
Ron Morris and Irv Shuster ran the concessions.
Bill Garden Jr. was manager.
Did that elegant facial adornment
start after you mustered out
It certainly has served you well
On the way back to Paul Kelly's place after Garden Bros. closed, by chance I happened to drive by the Hagen Bros. lot and camped for the night.
Bob Couls called Kelly and asked if we could remain and they made a deal.
This was the first time to meet Jenda Smaha who was in charge of the two show owned elephants "Elsie" and "Terry" and the beginning of a long friendship.
Henry and Sandra Thompson had the Side Show. The organist's name escapes me, he was a good friend of my dad.
Tex Maynard was drummer and also served as purchasing agent.
I stayed there as long as I could but was up against an Army Induction date in Hot Springs.
Just came to me, the organist's name was George Vest.
You would think he would get enough music playing for two performances but I would hear him behind the keyboard between shows and I would wander in and ask questions and he'd identify the sources as Offenbach, Balfe, etc.
