New President of Local Circus Fans Club

WELL DESERVED CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW CFA SARASOTA TENT #122 PRESIDENT, MICHAEL NAUGHTON !!!
After touring his YANKEE DOODLE CIRCUS for 26 successful seasons, primarily in the populous Northeast, Mike decided to take a well deserved break in Sunny Sarasota.
He certainly has been a VERY WELCOME addition !!
Last summer, in the absence of the Showfolks Club's president (not to be confused with the CFA), Vice President Mike worked non-stop organizing and personally providing the necessary repairs to the Clubhouse, necessitated by the breakdown of the air conditioning at the July 3rd Celebration, and the deterioration of numerous other things.
At Mike's induction as President of the Circus Fans Association of America Tent #122, last Wednesday, he made a speech that, according to those who attended, had the audience both in laughter and amazement at Mike's anecdotal and encyclopedic CIRCUS historical knowledge, both past and present !!
His very large circle of Sarasota friends have convinced Mike to establish an office in Sarasota, as well as the New York office !!
So the best is yet to come !!

Circus Fans Association of America Tent#122 Showfolks of Sarasota is the locally-based group of members who promote, preserve and foster appreciation of the circus.
The social club, Showfolks of Sarasota, Inc., owns the building on Lockwood Ridge Road and is known for producing the Showfolks Circus.
They are 2 separate entities with many people belonging to both.
