Exhibit-%20Leitzel, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Hi Buckles- Just back from a very successful run in Harrisburg, PA (Zembo Temple) for Cindy Migley (March 16-20). The show was well received and she has signed it again for 2012...always a good sign! I'm home (Baraboo) for two days before heading north, into Bismark and additional ND dates, also for Cindy. Prior to the PA gig, I was in St. Louis, where I had the honor of speaking at the Mercantile Library again, in connection with my ongoing exhibit: this time for the "Bixby Club" -- a group of antiquarian collectors, and such. While in town I managed to snap off a few shots of the exhibit that I thought may be of interest to your readers. The exhibit runs through August 7, so if anyone is passing through St. Louis, do check it out! Attached is an on line review from the St; Louis "Current" newspaper, a publication of the University of Missouri. About the attached pictures: Lillian Leitzel's wardrobe (circa 1930) - set against an original Strobridge half-sheet depicting the "Dainty Miss" -- accompanied by photographs and ephemera.
