No, Buckles I didn't say that- This photo was taken by Bob Taber of the bandwagon in the 1954 Beatty parade.

See, people only remember the King show as parading in the 1950s! Didn't Jay Gould also try a parade in the mid-50s, its last years? Of course, Kelly-Miller mounted a parade about 1963 that I saw.

King Bros. still did a parade in the early 1960's as we are in a Sandusky Register photograph of the parade passing by.

Bob: Be careful saying King Bros "still" did anything as the King show of the early 1960s was not the same King Bros which Floyd King and various associates had out from 1946 - 1956.

I believe I saw Wallace Bros in the 60`s put on a small parade. I do know I remember them having the steam calliope playing on Main St in downtown Columbia, SC.

March 1993: RBBB paraded up the West side of Manhattan, around Columbus Circle, into Central Park South and up to the Museum of Natural History. Many of the stars of the show were in the parade including the Gebel family, Lee & Judy Stevens, Eric Michael Gillette, Davide Larible, numerous clowns, and most of the elephant herd which did a longmount at the Southern side of the museum. A number of historic wagons were brought in from CWM, including the Swan Bandwagon and Mother Goose. It was all for the 200th anniversary of the Circus in America. After the parade many people went into the museum where short speeches were made beneath the recently dusted off skeleton of Jumbo. Great day for the Circus!

Does anyone remember when Circus Vargas had a parade at the malls in the 1970's.
Cliff had a low boy trailer to carry the wagons on.
I saw his parade at Houston, Texas.

Whitey, You are correct. I wasn't even thinking about a change of ownerships.
