Excerpt from Bill Woodcock letter to Chappie Fox

My father was an incredible letter writer he could peck out a half dozen in no time, I know because I mailed them.
He had the ability to type non stop consequently the content resembled his every day conversation.
In a way he ran a very early Blog Site.
Surprisingly, they were somewhat treasured and saved throughout the country.
Some years ago Rick Pfening ran a notice in Band Wagon asking the readership for copies of any letters they might have
and the response was incredible. Rick was thoughtful enough to forward copies on to me, there must be over a thousand.
Above is one of the examples, it's a copy of a copy and hard to read but I think you might find it entertaining.

As OSHA investigates elephant "accidents" and we become ever more politically correct, it is a delight to read the passages of the past. The art and science of elephant training is passing from the house. It is a delight to browse your wonderful Blog and remember that once giants walked these halls.
