I can still remember seeing the Wallenda Seven Person Pyramid on the Beatty Show as teenager. Awesome, I held my breath and my heart was almost beating out of my chest. I saw a Seven Man again a few years back on Cole Bros, it was great, but not the same excitement that the Wallenda`s gave me. The Wallenda`s used no mechanic, net, or air bag, Truly Death Defying !

I believe this is in the Chicago Stadium when I was there. Top is Henrietta [Yetty] Arthur Grotefants wife and sister of Helen, Next row, Phillip Kreis, brother of Helen and Yetty, and in back is Herman, Karls brother. Bottom first is Don Edwards, long time wth act but no relation. Gunther,son of Herman, Then Karl Wallenda and at back Arthur Grotefant Grotfant, half brother to Karl. "circus trivia" This Seven pyramid never was on the Ringling show.john herriott
