Looks like this was shot at the
Bayfront Arena in St Pete maybe
during the TV taping of the show
Thanks Buckles
Way off to the left I can make
out the roof of the clown cage
& some of the large foam leaves
of 1 of the magic mushroom kiddie
rides that had pneumatic posts
to lift the leaves & manually
operated duck tubs for the kids
these were REALLY heavy units
I may still have the paper models
of this spec somewhere
Could have been Tagu,Karen,or Cora I dont remember.
During that Spec we had 4 units
pulled by elephants including the
pony float the clown cage & the
hapiness train split with the
locomotive & 1 car separated from
the 2nd car & the caboose
When did Tagu die?
We traded her to Marine World in Calif. for a half grown female African I named "Tyronza" in 1975.
I sure thought Tagu was sold? I didnt think Axle had him. Buckles wrote me a letter when I was at Great Adventure asking me if I wanted to trade Tagu and Monya for a couple of my babies in NJ. That would of been around that time? I was offered to buy George from Jim Fowler and they would not let me keep him there so I asked Buckles if he wanted him and I think Ben picked him up from a park in Virginia?
Capt beat me by two seconds...:) Actually they wanted to give George away to anyone who would come pick him up...
