The Bostoc's came over from Denmark, the father and two sons. Jackie Bostock is still around and shows up at the Showfolks Club when here. I believe he lives in Denmark. Ivr Romig worked in their act for a season or so, not sure what year. Jackie
This is the Bostock (spelling?) act here. I might have got some of my comments on the wrong photos. and the girl is Marian Seifert with Jackie Bostock's brother standing. Jackie
I remember Marian Seifert in the 1970s as an older frequenter of the Showfolks club. Wasn't she a horse person but in quite a number of other acts? Never knew her but all the oldtimers did. Dick Flint Baltimore
Marian Seifert was a muti talented performer, like Rusty Parret. Neither ever did a single act to my rememberance, but they were in everything and did everything well. Marian came on the show with her mother Mary. I believe she was a trick and fancy rider from Rodeo. Jeannie Krause came on the show the same season. Probably 1945 for the all girl "Amazonia" number that finished at least in the garen with Kitty Clark and another girl doing the chariot races around the hippadrome track. Remember in thoes days the floor of the gardens was covere with several feet of dirt, not rubber pads. Jackie LeClaire
Jackie: I think Rusty did work in a two-person act and have her name listed in the program as "Parent and Somebody" or maybe "Somebody and Parent" but I forget who the somebody was. Closest she ever got to a single.
