Maybe it was pulled by a horse
That front fork is pretty narrow
Chic,
And all these years I thought the Ringling shops turned these out.
I build circus models that suit me but your work is right up there with the old master craftman of years gone by.
You are very talented and a job very well done.

Thanks Harry
Sunshine Studios was created in 72
as a Southern counterpart to my
original shop (Chic Studios) in
N Y which I opened in 65 & kept
both running until 82 when it was
all combined here in Sarasota
It was mostly to provide circus
equipment & leave the theatrical
stuff up North until then
I helped start the Hagenbeck shop
in Winter Quarters in Venice that
quickly outgrew that facility &
has been moved several times
Currently they are in Palmetto
You can also see by the concrete
apron that this area also is used
as an extension of our paint shop
(in good weather that is)
I have a great nightime shot of
Copey (Harvey Copeland) painting
the inflatable dome that was part
of the set we designed & built
for Arabian Nights in Kissimmee
I see Copey from time to time
He is truly a master craftsman
& an accomplished show painter
Chic,
Again you did some fantastic work on this wagon and I know Ringling must have liked it.
The two white posts with like a silver ball on top behind the horses was that for some one to hold on to while riding around the track???
I am working on a truck with a water tank and stake driver unit and need to put on the two drivers.
But my truck is like 18 inches long.

They are shaves my friend. Never heard of forks.
would love to see a picture of the Elephant pulling this, and know which elephant did pull it.....
Randy
The rod at the back with the pink
phallic tip was for the punk to
hang on to & I had wanted to wire
the output of a neon transformer
to it but they wouldn't let me
He did grab 1 of the white posts
as he mounted the steps
There's probably lots of stuff
you never heard of anonymouse
(but thanks anyway)
