The Joe Hodgini you remember on the 1970s RBBB performed with his family on the old Ringling Bros. Worlds Greatest Shows, that is before the 1919 combination. He spent a few winters in Baraboo and could recall quite vividly the old winterquarters there when it was still active. Dick Flint Baltimore
Bobby Kay shared some of those stories with me, like privacy in the trains. I so wish he had written a book. Yes ClownRon, only now do I realize the incredible living history that surrounded me on Ringling.

Joey Hodgini was my paymaster... loved the guy... he and Bobby Kay would hold court on move out night.

Thanks Dick... I am still amazed by all the history that surrounded me at the time.
Bobby Kay would tell us about clowning during the depression... 3/4 of his pay would go for water buckets.
