i remember the Cinderella float. They kept it in Max Craig's workshop at the Gil Grey winter quarters on St. Augustine road in Dallas.
The float was quite beautiful and realistic. The interior had red crushed velvet seats and wall coverings. Billy Burke and Lawrence cross were quite accomplished artists and wardrobe makers. They took great pains to produce quality props and costumes for the show. I guess that is one reason why Gil Grey Circus was called "the show beautiful."
The original stayed at Disneyland but my dad (Max Craig) made the one for Gil Gray. It was the one he was the most proud of. It was completely covered in glitter & had a fitted canvas cover to travel in. Everyone wanted to be Cinderella! Kandra
